These are sure to mix things up.

Two new rather powerful killstreaks have been added into Call of Duty: Warzone.

As spotted by CoD leaks site Modern Warzone, the first of these is Foresight, a new killstreak that costs $20,000 to purchase from Containment Monitor Stations and allows teams to see every circle for the remainder of a match when used. This definitely gives players a huge advantage when it comes to being the last ones standing as the position of the playzone can be the deciding factor in victory in battle royale games.

The second new killstreak is Bombardment, which lets players rain down a whole load of cluster bombs onto a designated area. Bombardment can be bought from the same Zombie Containment Monitor Stations, but you’ll first need to get a Containment Protocol access key.

Those are obtained from the yellow boxes that spawn at the end of a zombie event, which players can trigger using the challenge computer terminals in contaminated areas. Once zombies are dead, you’ll get the yellow access card needed to unlock those boxes, which in turn award the Containment Protocol access key.

As you can tell from this video posted to Twitter, Bombardment is not only wildly destructive, it also goes on for about 50 seconds. If you’re not in shelter, then you’re pretty much screwed.

You can also buy the Advanced UAV from the Containment Protocol station for just $3,000, which seems way too cheap given its power.

These changes come as part of the mid-season 2 patch for Call of Duty: Warzone, but were not announced ahead of time. Other tweaks include the AUG tactical rifle being nerfed, as well as a number of quality-of-life updates.

Activision is apparently trying to reduce the size of patches for Warzone, with the publisher boasting that it was making the game smaller. On PS5, PS4 and PC, this reduces the game’s file size by around two thirds, while on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, it roughly halves the title’s presence on your hardware.

Rumours also point to this year’s Call of Duty title once again taking place in World War 2.
